Madonna evokes her French origins and Julien Fortin on the French TV France 2 The family tree below is a non exhaustive view of the numerous family links between Madonna and celine Dion. The results of research made by Jean-François Loiseau in 2006 revealed that Madonna and Celine Dion have more than 146 different ancestors in common and most of them are originated from the Perche. Julien Fortin dit Bellefontaine (1621-~1690), the direct ancestor of Madonna born in Saint-Cosme (Sarthe, France) in 1621, is one of them. Celine Dion is through three different branches a descendant of this pioneer who left the Perche in 1650.
