About us

perche-quebec.com describes the adventure of the pioneers from Perche (France) who migrated to Quebec in the 17th century, through the genealogies of their famous descendants.

The site was created in 2007 by Jean-François Loiseau who is originated from Perche. He has been a history and genealogy buff for more than 25 years. Since 2017, Jean-François Loiseau is a board member of the Association Perche-Canada. He lives in Paris (France).
